Ray Newland — Founder, J4KJust4keepers was founded by Ray Newland, a former professional goalkeeper who played for Everton FC and was coached by, worked and trained alongside five of the greatest goalkeepers to ever live during his career — Neville Southall, Peter Shilton, Peter Bonetti, Joe Corrigan and the GOAT, Gordon Banks.
Ray has gone on to help more goalkeepers achieve their dreams than any other goalkeeper coach in history — and now that same specialist coaching is arriving on the Isle of Man.
Ray has coached at every level of the game — from grassroots, right through to professional and international level. One of his students is Welsh international Adam Davies, who Ray coached for six years before personally recommending him to Everton.
Ray made the decision to turn his back on the professional game — because his true love is grassroots, something he's now been doing for over 25 years. At its peak, Ray took Just4keepers into 37 countries across 6 continents — and now he's chosen to call the Isle of Man home, bringing that same world-class coaching to the island.
This is elite goalkeeper development, delivered by someone who has lived it at the top of the game and coached the world over since 1998.
